Caledonian Airways became part of the Inspirations group in 1995.

Always popular, the Canary Islands are arguably the birthplace of low cost winter sun holidays.

The need to keep in-house aircraft busy made launching a year-round Inspirations Cyprus holiday programe a no brainer.

Greece and her islands is where SunMed Holidays and this collection of travel photos began.

Inspirations Holidays India programme rapidly became a best seller and made the market in sensibly-priced exotic long haul.

Kenya was my favourite destination for recce trips working for Inspirations Holidays. There are many more transparencies yet to be scanned.

Morocco was the destination for some very memorable photo recce trips for Inspirations Holidays (and Marrakech was the first short-break destination I ever went on with my good lady and favourite client Karen Vyse, who back then was Karen Lay).

A bit niche for Inspirations Holidays was Nepal, which I think bounced along just about breaking even, providing senior staff with a great excuse to visit.

Peach Air flew between 1997 and 1998 and was a sort of division of Caledonian that flew for Goldcrest - the details of why escape me. The logo followed the late nineties fashion for fruit, and I wonder if it may have been influenced by the designer staring at his desktop computer casing.

These archival shots of Spain portray a destination that has now changed so much that it's hard to work out where they were taken.

Turkey was a massive destination and after Inspirations Holidays was no more, my work there carried on with Holidays 4U, which I'll cover in another archive.
